About Line Rings Modrwy
Casgliad o naw modrwy yw Line Rings, wedi'i gynllunio i dynnu sylw at y rhyngweithio rhwng y sawl sy'n eu gwisgo a'r gemwaith. Mae sffêr symudol y tu mewn i bob modrwy yn llithro ar hyd trac ac yn rhoi adborth trwy sain, dirgryniad a chylchdro. Cafodd y casgliad ei ysbrydoli gan y labrinth a chan bensaernïaeth geometrig. Mae strwythurau aml-segment yn creu llwybrau amrywiol ar gyfer y sffêr. Cynhyrchir y modrwyau trwy argraffu tri-dimensiwn a chastio cwyr coll mewn pres gyda gorchudd arian. Mae pob modrwy'n mesur tua 4 wrth 4 wrth 4 centimetr.

About the Gwobr Arian A' Design Award
Mae Line Rings Modrwy yn enillydd Gwobr Arian A' Design Award, cydnabyddiaeth hynod fawreddog a roddir i ddyluniadau o'r radd uchaf, hardd a thrawiadol. Mae enillwyr Arian yn weithiau tra disglair a hynod greadigol sydd yn darlunio arbenigedd, dawn a chraffter rhagorol eu dylunwyr. Disgwylir i Line Rings Modrwy fod yn waith gwych ac esiampl, yn nodedig o broffesiynol ac yn ddwfn arloesol. Mae'r dyluniad buddugol hwn o Wobr Arian A' Design Award yn ddyfais hynod nodedig a edmygir sydd yn elwa ac yn symud ymlaen ffiniau celf, gwyddoniaeth, dylunio a thechnoleg. Mae Line Rings Modrwy yn greadigaeth y cenfigennir wrthi yn eang, sydd yn deffro dyheadau, yn cyflwyno teimladau cadarnhaol ac yn cynnau rhyfeddod a syndod.
Behind the Design

Credits, team members and technical details provided by the designer.
- Unique Properties
- This project is a collection of nine rings that are designed to highlight the interaction between wearer and jewelry. The moveable sphere inside the ring provides feedback to the wearer through sounds, vibration, and rotation.
- Dimensions & Packaging
- Approximately 4*4*4 cm each
- Tags
- ring, line, movement, personality, jewelry
- Production Technology
- 3D Printing; Lost Wax Casting; Brass; Silver Plating
- Design Challenge
- Precious measuring. After experimenting with different 3D printed materials, I limit the thickness of the wire to 1.2mm, with a 6mm gap in between the rail to ensure the sphere flow constantly in the ring. It is hard to calculate the measurement in a 3D form.
- Inspiration
- The Line Collection was inspired by the labyrinth and geometric architectures. The moveable sphere inside slides in various directions along the track, while diverse multi-segment structures bring greater possibilities to the trajectory of the ball. I utilized 3D CAD techniques to bring precision and higher complexity in creating perfect line construction in small scale rings.
- Project Duration
- The project started in September 2019 in Savannah, GA, and finished in March 2020.
