Am Nus Tŷ Preswyl

Mae Nus yn dŷ preswyl wedi'i leoli yng Nghreta, Gwlad Groeg. Mae cyfaint prif ar siâp U yn cael ei gyfuno â thŷ gwadd tanddaearol. Mae'r ddau gyfaint yn manteisio i'r eithaf ar amlygiad de-ddwyreiniol ac yn ymateb i ongl newidiol yr haul trwy gydol y tymhorau. Mae dwy ofod solar, un â chysgodi sefydlog ac un â bleindiau cylchdroi a wal fàs, yn caniatáu gwresogi ac oeri naturiol. Mae to gwyrdd, arwynebau dŵr, siafft awyru ac agoriadau to a reolir yn gwella'r cysur thermol. Mae paneli ffotofoltäig, gwresogyddion dŵr solar a system eco-thermol yn lleihau'r ôl troed ynni.

Mae Nus Tŷ Preswyl yn enillydd Gwobr Efydd A' Design Award, cydnabyddiaeth hynod fawreddog a roddir i ddyluniadau rhagorol sydd yn nodedig am greadigrwydd, dyfeisgarwch a chraffter. Mae enillwyr Efydd yn arteffactau medrus iawn a thrawiadol o greadigol sydd yn dilysu profiad helaeth, dychymyg a dyfeisgarwch eu dylunwyr. Disgwylir i Nus Tŷ Preswyl fod yn wrthrych uchel ei fri, a edmygir ac a anwylir, sydd yn nodedig o broffesiynol ac arloesol. Mae'r dyluniad buddugol hwn o Wobr Efydd A' Design Award yn ymgorffori arferion gorau mewn celf, gwyddoniaeth, dylunio a thechnoleg, ac yn rhagorol am ei sylw i fanylion. Mae Nus Tŷ Preswyl yn bodloni anghenion yn odidog, yn cyffwrdd â dyheadau, yn swyno teimladau ac yn apelio at chwilfrydedd.

Priodweddau Unigryw: The main criteria for the architectural decisions made, were the need for low energy footprint building designs, as well as the views towards pure Cretan nature. Τhe main U shaped residence along with the underground guest house volume, maximize the southeast exposure of the building, while they are taking advantage of the different angle of the sun rays during the seasonal cycles.

Technoleg Cynhyrchu: For natural heating and cooling, we created two solar spaces, one with fixed shading, one with rotating blinds and a mass wall. Water surfaces on the south walls, the green roof, the hiding of the western light, the vertical ventilation shaft with small openings towards the North and the controlled shading roof openings, lead to thermal comfort conditions. Photovoltaic panels, solar water heaters and the vertical geothermal system, contribute to minimize the building’s ecological footprint.
Ysbrydoliaeth: We believe in the integration of buildings into nature. Humble design tones present with more challenging architectural solutions, that take into account the sustainability and the ecological footprint of our built environment. Furthermore, the Cretan nature and landscape only needs a good frame to be appreciated or no frame at all. And this is what we did here. Minimum sq.meters, natural materials and welcoming volume decisions.
