Y Dyluniad

Am The Things Bowlenni Dur Di-Staen

Mae The Things yn set o bowlen amlochrog wedi'i hysbrydoli o athroniaeth ag ymdeimlad o Zen. Mae'r set bowlen o 5 sy'n cael eu gweld fel 5 powlen wahanol, ond mae pob un yr un peth yn wir, dim ond y top agored sydd ar wahanol awyrennau fel y byddai pobl yn meddwl bod y rheini'n hollol wahanol o ran siâp. Mae'n rhoi syniad o gydraddoldeb a pharch mewn un byd. Mae'r set hefyd yn cynrychioli'r Pum Elfen fel Metel, Pren, Dŵr, Tân & Daear. Mae pob un wedi'i ddylunio fel polygon gyda siâp anghonfensiynol fel llestri bwrdd, addurniadau cartref a cherfluniau celf. Mae pob darn o'r set wedi'i sgleinio â chreision & gorffeniad drych.

Her Dylunio: The creativity is totally beyond the production possibilities. Abnormal and polygonal design of bowls requires additional metalworking techniques that the defective rate is high.
Ymchwil: Exploring various metalworking production techniques were crucial to the success of the production of this project.
Ysbrydoliaeth: The design idea is from the philosophy of The Equality of Things by Zhuangzi who was the philosopher in the ancient Asia. Under ZEN, everything is the same, and people agree or deny other’s point of views are based on their own perspective subjectively. This inspires us to create the polygonal bowl set of 5 which are seen as 5 different bowls, but in fact the bowls are the same, just the open top is on the different planes. From a start to the end, it is the same thing, no matter of race & origin.
Hyd y Prosiect: The project started in April 2020 in Hong Kong and finished in September 2020 in China.
Llif Gweithrediad: This set of bowls can be used as tableware, home decors and also modern blocks for meditation.
