About Arc Bwrdd Coffi
Mae Arc yn fwrdd coffi a gynlluniwyd ar gyfer mannau byw cyfoes. Gwneir Arc o bren onnen wedi'i siapio drwy blygu laminedig. Cysylltir tri stribed crwm i ffurfio strwythur trionglog, tri-dimensiwn, crwn. Mae pob stribed yn cysylltu â'r ddau arall, felly mae angen pedwar cymal ar bob stribed a rhaid torri pob ongl yn union gywir. Mae'r bwrdd yn mesur 77 centimetr o led, 77 centimetr o ddyfnder a 48 centimetr o uchder. Mae'r dyluniad yn ysgafn ei bwysau a gellir ei ddefnyddio fel dodrefnyn neu ei ystyried yn wrthrych cerfluniol. Mae Arc yn tynnu ar bensaernïaeth fodern ac ar strwythurau syml heb addurniadau dianghenraid.

- Unique Properties
- The ARC stripes were made and connected using laminated veneer techniques which combines three strips to form a spherical structure. Each strip has to connect with two other strips thus each strips needs to have four joints to be set precisely.Then combined joints and form a stable three-dimensional triangular body of structure. which makes the creation unique. And because of the unique shape, the Table could easily fit in contemporary, it could act as a furniture or a piece of art.

- Design Challenge
- The table has an unique structural placement which creates challenges when it’s being crafted: To form the shape and the accurate joint angle, which requires a huge amount of calculation when bending and making joint each pieces of wood, is one of the key challenges when crafting.
- Research
- This is an outstanding Table made out of hardwood with overcome various of structural challenges and woodcrafting techniques. The Table is comfortable with its own personality, unique, light in weight and with a pretty structure and appearance.
- Inspiration
- This table is inspired by ARC Guitar Stand, the first creation of ARC series which is also an original HYC creation.
ARC creation was inspired by the modern architectures and the ponderation of space design on how to composite structures that are not over-decorated and form a new pattern that is elegant and enchanted. - Project Duration
- The project started in 2021 in Taipei and completed in 2022 in Taipei.
