Mae cred gyffredin yn bodoli y gallai ysbrydoliaeth o'r amgylchedd cyfagos arwain at greu campweithiau sy'n cydymffurfio ag anghenion dynol. Trwy gyfrwng y cysyniad hwn, gellir sicrhau canlyniadau cadarnhaol yn nyluniad cynhyrchion a ddefnyddir yn uniongyrchol gan ddefnyddwyr.
