Mae'r dyluniad yn cael ei ysbrydoli gan y cyfuniad unigryw o bensaerniaeth Roegaidd, Rufeinig, Bysantaidd ac Otomanaidd. Mae modrwy'r Cromen, mor unigryw yn ei dyluniad, yn ddehongliad modern o Gromenni enwog Hagia Sophia. Mae'r dyluniad yn ganlyniad i'r ymchwil PhD a gynhaliodd Fatma Altinbas yn y Grand Bazaar am 2 flynedd, ynghylch hanes gweithgynhyrchu gemwaith yn yr ardal. Mae modrwy'r Cromen wedi'i chrefftio o aur rhosyn 18-carat ac wedi'i haddurno â chyfanswm o 0.22 carat o ddiemwntau lliw G, eglurder VS1, ar y tu mewn a'r tu allan.

Mae The Dome Modrwy yn enillydd Gwobr Aur A' Design Award, cydnabyddiaeth aruthrol o fawreddog a roddir i ddyluniadau o'r radd flaenaf, rhyfeddol a rhagorol. Mae enillwyr Aur yn greadigaethau hynod arloesol, gweledigaethol a disglair o ysblennydd sydd yn adlewyrchu athrylith, doethineb a medrusrwydd eu dylunwyr. - Unique Properties
- The design takes its inspirations from the unique blend of Greek, Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman architectures. The Dome ring, as unique in its design that it is a modern interpretation of famous Domes of Hagia Sophia.
- Dimensions & Packaging
- The diameter of the dome is 17mm x height 10mm, the width of the ring is 6mm x its size is optional. The visual with all the measurement details is available in the documents section.

- The Dome ring is a visual feast of elaborate ornamentation of 18 carat rose gold and 0.22 carat, G color, VS1 diamonds both in the inside and outside.
- Design Challenge
- The hardest part was to find the perfect measurements for the perfect appearance and also make the design easy to use.
- Research
- The design is an outcome of the Phd research that Fatma Altinbas had held in Grand Bazaar for 2 years, about the history of jewellery manufacturing in the area. She has evaluated the artisans and their designs and their inspirations for years. Her observations of the the architectural visuals of historical buildings has inspired her. Her Phd research has been published as a book by Rizzoli in 2019, named 'Stones of The Grand Bazaar'
- Inspiration
- Ring takes it's inspiration from one of the world's revered structures,Hagia Sophia of Istanbul..The famous domes of Hagia Sophia has been built in the sixth century and it is one of the masterpieces of Byzantine architecture with its thenunparalleled dome construction and the light of its forty windows creating an etheral ambiance. Domes are always prominent in the design language of Istanbul.
- Project Duration
- The project started in June 2018 in İstanbul and finished in April 2019 and was exhibited in Burlington Arcade of London.

- The white enamel of the Dome is comes also in turquoise and burgundy color.
