Soffa amlbwrpas yw Twiny a ddyluniwyd ar gyfer plant mewn cartrefi, ysgolion meithrin a chanolfannau gofal dydd. Mae'r soffa yn edrych fel sedd chwareus ac yn cuddio bwrdd addasadwy gyda lle storio. Wrth wahanu'r ddwy uned soffa, datgelir y bwrdd cudd. Mae troi rhan uchaf y bwrdd yn newid ei uchder ac yn agor yr adran storio. Gellir trefnu'r darnau modiwlaidd mewn gwahanol gynlluniau ar gyfer chwarae, astudio ac ymlacio. Mae'r clustogwaith wedi'i wneud o bolyester wedi'i ailgylchu. Mae'r bwrdd wedi'i wneud o naddion pren wedi'u hadfer a phlastig wedi'i ailgylchu.

While it first appears as a playful sofa, it ingeniously conceals an adjustable table with storage, revealed by separating the sofa units. This modular approach supports activities such as playing, studying, relaxing, with eco-friendly materials, child-focused functionality

- Twiny sofa is crafted using eco-conscious materials to ensure sustainability and comfort. The upholstery is made from 100% recycled polyester, providing a soft, durable surface that emphasizes environmental responsibility. The adjustable table is constructed from a sustainable composite, combining reclaimed wood chips and recycled plastic, which highlights its eco-friendly design.

- The creative challenge involved integrating versatile features, such as hidden table and storage, without compromising user experience and aesthetics. Balancing functionality with a playful design for children was essential, as well as ensuring safety and ease of use.

- The research aimed to develop multifunctional, space-saving children's furniture that promotes versatility, safety, and sustainability. Using a mixed-methods approach, data was collected through interviews and home observations. The findings underscored the need for adaptable, safe, and easy to maintain furniture with integrated storage. Insights emphasized the value of multifunctional furniture in fostering creativity and independence. This research culminated in the creation of Twiny furniture, a versatile, modular design that maintains organized and clutter-free spaces.

- Twiny multifunctional sofa was inspired by the increasing need for adaptable furniture in small living spaces, particularly for families with children. Observing how limited space can restrict children's ability to explore and engage in creative play, I aimed to design a piece that not only maximizes space but also encourages independence and imagination. My motivation stemmed from the desire to create a functional, safe, and easy to maintain solution that meets the needs of modern families.

- The Project started in Cologne in May 2024 and was completed in Cologne in August 2024.

- Twiny multifunctional furniture is designed for easy interaction and transformation, making it perfect for children. To reveal the hidden table, simply separate the two sofa units. By turning the top part of the table, children can adjust its height and access the storage compartment. The modular pieces can be reconfigured into different layouts to suit various activities, fostering creativity and independence.
