About Cyber Yoke Olwyn Lywio
Mae'r dyluniad cynnyrch hwn yn welliant ar yr olwyn lywio grwn draddodiadol sy'n gallu gwella golwg ymlaen y gyrrwr. Mae siâp cylch yr olwyn Petryal Ofalaidd yn amlygu ymdeimlad o dechnoleg a dyfodolaeth, ac yn cyfuno manteision yr olwyn lywio gylchol a'r olwyn lywio hanner-sbôc. Mae dyluniad y deunyddiau a'r lliwiau gwahanol ar y cylchoedd dwbl mewnol ac allanol yn adlewyrchu effaith weledol o haenau. Mae'r defnydd o ffabrigau graddiant lliw o ddeunydd arbennig yn darparu mwy o ddewisiadau personol. Mae'r Dylunydd yn gobeithio creu cynnyrch sy'n cydbwyso estheteg ac ymarferoldeb.
The Recognition
About the Gwobr Efydd A' Design Award
Mae Cyber Yoke Olwyn Lywio yn enillydd Gwobr Efydd A' Design Award, cydnabyddiaeth hynod fawreddog a roddir i ddyluniadau rhagorol sydd yn nodedig am greadigrwydd, dyfeisgarwch a chraffter. Mae enillwyr Efydd yn arteffactau medrus iawn a thrawiadol o greadigol sydd yn dilysu profiad helaeth, dychymyg a dyfeisgarwch eu dylunwyr. Disgwylir i Cyber Yoke Olwyn Lywio fod yn wrthrych uchel ei fri, a edmygir ac a anwylir, sydd yn nodedig o broffesiynol ac arloesol. Mae'r dyluniad buddugol hwn o Wobr Efydd A' Design Award yn ymgorffori arferion gorau mewn celf, gwyddoniaeth, dylunio a thechnoleg, ac yn rhagorol am ei sylw i fanylion. Mae Cyber Yoke Olwyn Lywio yn bodloni anghenion yn odidog, yn cyffwrdd â dyheadau, yn swyno teimladau ac yn apelio at chwilfrydedd.

- Unique Properties
- Modified steering wheel designed for Tesla Model 3/Y, Create a steering wheel that combines the advantages of circular steering wheel and half-spoke steering wheel. The unique wheel rim shape of Oval Rectangle highlights a strong sense of technology and futurism, and the design of different materials and colors on the double rings of inner and outer reflects a special sense of layering. The application of particular material-color gradient fabrics provides more personalized choices.
- Dimensions & Packaging

- Production Technology
- Five-layer Process: 1. One-piece die casting frame; 2. First layer of PU foam; 3. Built-in heating patch; 4. Second layer of PU foam; 5. Surface mat. covering.
- Design Challenge
- The development of the manufacturing process is more difficult than the design. The entire product development took one year. The foaming mold of the steering wheel body was modified three times, and the color gradient fabric was modified three times. In addition, the surface material was hand-wrapped, and it was difficult to maintain the surface flatness. Quality control was the key.
- Research
- Using NX to create design models and then using resin 3D printing to verify feasibility, the use of resin materials results in significant dimensional errors, leading to longer mold modification times during the product trial production phase. For the development of color gradient fabrics, due to the high requirement for fabric extensibility for surface covering, the initial color displayed by the fabric is darker. Adjusting the fabric texture scheme can effectively reduce the color depth.
- Inspiration
- The traditional circular steering wheel allows both hands to move freely, it‘s easy to get the hands mixed up after turning and returning, while a half-spoke steering wheel can cause the other hand to grab the air when turning and turning back, so we aimed to build a steering wheel that avoids both problems. On the other hand, the inspiration for using color gradient fabrics comes from the paintings of Van Gogh, and we hope to create a product that balances aesthetics and practicality.
- Project Duration
- The project started in Guangzhou in December 2023, obtained a patent in August 2024, and entered mass production in December 2024.
- Operation Flow
- About the installation of the modified steering wheel: 1. Remove the original steering wheel from the car; 2. Disassemble the original steering wheel parts (button module, shell, etc.); 3. Install the original steering wheel parts on the steering wheel body of this design; 4. Install the steering wheel as a whole on the car.
