About The Flight Of The Razorbill Casgliad Dodrefn Awyr Agored

Mae Hediad y Llurs yn gasgliad o ddodrefn awyr agored sy'n cynnwys cadair, bwrdd a darn goleuo. Mae'r casgliad wedi'i wneud o Fenix, deunydd nanotechnoleg gydag arwyneb tra-matt, gwrth-ôl bysedd a phriodweddau hunan-iachau thermol. Fel arfer defnyddir Fenix mewn mannau mewnol, ac mae'r casgliad yn addasu'r deunydd at ddefnydd awyr agored. Mae'r siapiau'n dilyn astudiaeth fiomimetig o gorff aerodynamig aderyn môr y Llurs. Mae modelu digidol a gweithgynhyrchu CNC manwl yn creu'r geometregau di-dor.

Production Technology
The collection was developed through a biomimetic design methodology, translating the aerodynamic geometry of the Razorbill into structural furniture forms. The pieces are fabricated using Fenix®, a high-performance nanotech material known for its ultra-matte surface, anti-fingerprint properties, and thermal self-healing capability. Digital modeling and precision CNC fabrication enabled the creation of continuous, refined geometries while ensuring durability and suitability for outdoor environments.
Inspiration
This project originates from a biomimetic approach, studying the Razorbill seabird’s aerodynamic body and efficient structure as a source of design intelligence. Its flight inspired a language of light yet stable forms. The research also explored the innovative use of Fenix®, whose self-healing and regenerative surface properties echo natural resilience, reinforcing the concept of furniture that learns from nature’s efficiency and durability.
