About U Cube Adnewyddiad Tirlun

Mae U Cube yn adnewyddiad tirlun o stryd fach ei graddfa yn Shanghai, Tsieina, a gwblhawyd yn 2018. Mae'r dyluniad yn dilyn athroniaeth o gael gwared ar gymhlethdod a chadw symlrwydd. Mae elfennau minimalaidd, deunyddiau ffuturistaidd a manylion cain yn troi'r stryd yn dirlun swyddfa ymarferol. Roedd y lôn wreiddiol yn gul a thywyll, felly seiliwyd y cynllun ar egwyddor ymestyn gofod. Mae plât drws cain a mynedfa eiconig yn rhannu'r ardal swyddfa oddi wrth yr ardal breswyl. Rheolir mynediad cerbydau i ddarparu amgylchedd gwaith tawel ac annibynnol.

Unique Properties
Following the design philosophy of removing complexity and keeping simplicity, Lacime made the small-scale streets a beautiful and practical office landscape by using minimal elements, futuristic design techniques, and exquisite details.
Dimensions & Packaging
The original lane was narrow and dark, which become more congested and depressed because of coexistence of passages and vehicles. So, the design was based on the principle of stretching space.

Production Technology
The original street lacks a unique soul and character due to the messy city interface and the ambiguous boundaries between different industries. As a result, this commercial and residential land failed to inject vitality into the area. As to the facade, the futuristic materials, fine doorplate and iconic entrance stand out from the surrounding chaotic environment, dividing the office area from the residential area. Meanwhile, the nature of the land is highlighted with a new image, thus the value of the neighborhood has been improved.
Design Challenge
How to integrate the four elements into one, and to inject new life to the area from point to plane has become the main point of this design. The modern building contrasts sharply with the surrounding environment. The pure white walls and the tough clean lines both lay a good foundation for the landscape design.
Research
Looking at the endless stream of time, whether after five years, ten years, thirty years or even one hundred years, a good work can exist in time, beyond time, and will not be swallowed by time. This is what we have been pursuing and what we are longing for.
Inspiration
As Jane Jacobs pointed out in her book The Death and Life of Great American Cities that while modern urban planning theory promotes regionalization, it devalues high-density, and the mixed use of small-scale neighborhoods and open spaces undermines urban diversity. The four elements of a vibrant urban area are proposed in the book: mixed land use, small-scale neighborhoods, coexistence of new and old buildings and high population density, which are integrated in this project.
Project Duration
The project is completed in 2018 in Shanghai, China.
Operation Flow
In addition to the landscape transformation, the vehicle is shielded by control, providing a relatively quiet and independent modern working environment which has a sense of future.
The thinking and design of a landscape project should be beyond what we see at present and design can promote value.
