About Pass On Cyfres Ffotograffig

Mae Pass On yn gyfres ffotograffig sy'n seiliedig ar ddelwedd neges wedi'i selio o fewn potel. Mae ysbrydoliaeth pob ffotograff yn dod o un gair, megis gobaith neu frawdoliaeth, ac mae'n cynrychioli'r gair hwnnw trwy ei ystyr neu trwy ddigwyddiad gwirioneddol. Mae'r un tri elfen, neges, potel a dŵr, yn ymddangos ym mhob delwedd, ond eto mae pob thema'n cael ei thrin mewn modd gwahanol. Adeiladwyd setiau, acwariwms arbennig a mecanweithiau penodol ar gyfer y lluniau. Mae'r delweddau digidol yn cyfuno ymyriant a chyfuniad delweddau, ac maent yn eu hargraffu gan ddefnyddio chwistrell inc ar bapur cotwm.

Production Technology
Photos made with Canon digital camera and lenses. In studio, lighting equipment from Broncolor, Elinchron, Arri and Dedolight was used. All photos of this series have interference and image fusion.
Design Challenge
The same elements were used, message, bottle and water in all images but the themes were treated differently, make viable the means of production and adapted to the meaning or inspiring event of the photo.
Research
Each photo in this series is inspired by a word and, to represent it, has been chosen, an event or its own meaning.
Books, movies, newspaper news, served as a reference for the realization of this project.
Then the idealization of the image, the roughs in drawings and from there the effective and specific production for each photo.
Experiments were performed, set designs were built, special aquariums were set up, specific mechanisms were created for these photos.
Inspiration
The initial idea of this series of photographs is the story about the isolated castaway throwing overboard its perhaps ultimate distress call.
Despair? It can be considered one of the greatest displays of hope possible.
The photos of the messages on the bottles were inspired by their very meaning or a specific event such as "Same Blood" for terrorist attacks in Paris; "Reverse of Courage" for the terrible disasters in Mariana and Brumadinho.
Project Duration
The project started in July 2017 and is yet in progress.
Operation Flow
The photos were taken with the intention of proposing reflection on our attitudes towards the message written inside the bottle, questioning whether these messages are really important and worth sharing.
