About Hekne
Anja Hekne is the designer behind HEKNE, a Norwegian fashion design company belonging to the slow fashion movement. She founded the company together with Siglinde Lunde in 2013. Anja currently lives in Barcelona, Spain, but in her designs you can clearly see her Scandinavian heritage and the love for nature that she brings with her from growing up in Norway.
Hekne is a highly esteemed winner of the A' Design Award & Competition in Fashion. Hekne received the Silver A' Design Award for outstanding design work. In the competition, Hekne entered anonymously, and an international grand jury panel of established academics, design professionals and press members decided by blind peer review.
The 2016 - 2017 edition of the A' Design Award & Competition brought the recognition to Hekne. Within the World Design Rating, Hekne carries the title Forthcoming Professional. Hekne represents Norway among the award-winning creators of Designers.org.
About the Brand
HEKNE was established in 2013 by Anja Hekne and Siglinde Lunde. The company released its first collection of womenswear for the season autumn/winter 2016.
