The Designer
About Maurice Lacy
Maurice Lacy Designs IVS is a new company, which aims to change the face of outdoor living through invention and an innovative approach to outdoor furniture. Practicality and durability are at the heart of each design. The company seeks to bring the ease of use and comfort of indoor furniture to the outdoors, and challenge the mass-produced, throwaway mentality commonly associated with outdoor furniture.
Maurice Lacy stands among the laureates of the internationally acclaimed A' Design Award & Competition, with winning entries in Furniture. Maurice Lacy earned the Bronze A' Design Award for outstanding design work. In the competition, Maurice Lacy entered anonymously, and an international grand jury panel of established academics, design professionals and press members decided by blind peer review.
The award was granted in the 2018 - 2019 edition of the A' Design Award & Competition. The achievements of Maurice Lacy earned the World Design Rating title Forthcoming Associate. The success of Maurice Lacy adds to the international design reputation of Denmark.
