Alexander and Marie Luise Bermbach

We are a young couple who searched for a wickerwork cradle for our own kids. Without success. We then came upon the idea of designing classical wicker furniture ourselves. We founded our own workshop and have been producing hand woven rattan beds since 2017.

The creative work of Alexander and Marie Luise Bermbach has been recognized by the prestigious A' Design Award in Baby Products. With the Silver A' Design Award, the jury of the A' Design Award & Competition recognized the work of Alexander and Marie Luise Bermbach. The recognition of Alexander and Marie Luise Bermbach rests on the blind peer-review votes of an international grand jury panel of established academics, design professionals and press members.

The 2018 - 2019 edition of the A' Design Award & Competition brought the recognition to Alexander and Marie Luise Bermbach.
