About Air Box Boligindretning

Air Box er en boligindretning til et 275 kvadratmeter stort hjem i Hangzhou. En ophængt boks blev bygget i stuen for at opdele hele rummet i to dele. Den usædvanlige arkitektoniske form skaber et indendørs uderum, som bliver husets hovedelement. Sorte, hvide og grå toner giver rummene en ren og rolig karakter. Marmorgulv strækker sig fra korridoren til hvert område og tilfører en stille tekstur. Belysning anvendes med tilbageholdenhed, og en enkel glasdør ledsager væggen.

Unique Properties: The designer built an air box in the living room and divided the whole space into two parts. The special interior architectural form makes it form an indoor "outside" space. The existence of this new creation has become the leading role of the whole house, which is an unexpected surprise for the owners. In the box, space, time and readers are eternal existence.
Dimensions & Packaging: The project covers a total of 275 square meters.

Production Technology: The marble on the ground, with its low-key and highly tensile texture, extends from the cloister to each area, indicating the temperature of the space.
Design Challenge: The ceiling is no longer stacked, and the background is not complicated. The use of lamps and lanterns is restrained and rigorous, illuminating every side of the space.
Research: As a unique world cultural landscape heritage, Hangzhou West Lake has different scenery in four seasons. Living near the lake, the prosperity of the city is separated by a lake from the secluded world. Not far from the door is thetenfamousviewsoftheWestlake "Orioles Singing in the Willows". In your free time, you can walk around the West Lake, view the scenery of the lake and mountains, clean the mind.
Inspiration: Different people have different feelings about color. In the colorful world, black, white and gray color presents more pure space. The small use of structuralism makes a clever arrangement for the light guidance. Even a piece of furniture, it is only for the space, tilting out the perfect response. The simple glass door is another kind of accompany of the wall.
Project Duration: The project started in July 2018 in Hangzhou and finished in September 2019 in Hangzhou.
Operation Flow: The first lamp in the house reflects the sense of returning ceremony.
