About Cloud Mountain Type Skrifttypedesign
Cloud Mountain Type er en skrifttype inspireret af sky- og tågebjergene i Zhang Jiajie og af klassisk kinesisk landskabsmaleri. Bogstavformerne kombinerer traditionelle kinesiske sky- og bjergmotiver med det latinske alfabets struktur. Hvert tegn er håndtegnet og efterfølgende forfinet med digital billedbehandlingssoftware, og skrifttypen kan anvendes i variable størrelser. Set på meget nært hold overtager detaljerne, og bogstavet bliver svært at genkende, ligesom et bjergs form ikke kan ses fra dets top.

The Chinese saying: You cannot recognize the shape of a mountain when you stand on it. When you stare at the details of the font, you even can’t recognize the letter itself, that is because you have already stand on the cloud-fog mountains.
