About Interweaving Workplace Kontorindretning
Book Text: Interweaving Workplace er et kontorindretningsprojekt beliggende i Hong Kong Science Park. Det 7.000 kvadratfod store rum huser en forsknings- og udviklingsvirksomhed, der arbejder inden for kunstig intelligens og 5G. To hovedgange er placeret på skrå, så dagslys når frem til receptionsområdet, hvor gæster mødes af havudsigt. Kontoret er opdelt i separate zoner, der forbliver forbundne. Fællesarealer er placeret tæt på indgangen for nem adgang. Layoutet sigter mod at skabe et åbent og imødekommende arbejdsmiljø.

- Unique Properties
- Situated at the Hong Kong Science Park, UMEC is a research and development company in AI & 5G industry with 7,000 sqft working space. Our design approach emphasized in creativity and innovation to create an open and connect space. Two main paths were introduced at an angle for natural light filtering into the reception and visitors would be greeted by sea views. The office is divided into different zones while maintain connection and common spaces are placed near the entrance for easy access.

- Inspiration
- We gained inspiration from the business nature of the company, a start-up company of AI and 5G industry which is young and energetic. Through our design, a layout with two angled paths, we sought to project a home-office and friendly working environment, rather than a futuristic high-tech image. For the visitors, we have created an easy-access and open environment with ample sunlight and connectivity, at the time maintained a sense of privacy for the staffs.
