About Clarity in Slow Motion Boligindretningsdesign

Unique Properties
Furthermore, in terms of spatial planning, the incorporation of wooden louvered curtains serves a dual purpose. Not only do they elegantly adjust the angle of light and ventilation, but they also allow natural light to pour into the room, illuminating the space and enhancing its overall ambiance. Consequently, this thoughtful design choice delineates spatial layers while promoting air circulation and markedly improving the quality of ventilation throughout the retreat.

Production Technology
The public areas showcase a beautifully crafted grid pattern of wooden flooring, which not only excels in sound absorption but also visually enhances the space, fostering an open and tranquil atmosphere. Connecting the upper and lower floors is a stunning solid wood staircase made from premium South American teak. Remarkably, this staircase is designed without any metal supports; its structure has been meticulously calculated by skilled technicians and secured with dowels and nails to ensure stability and elegance.
Design Challenge
Throughout the structure, wooden elements are thoughtfully integrated into both indoor and outdoor environments, creating a seamless connection that allows the building to resonate and breathe in harmony with the breathtaking surrounding mountains, the warmth of sunlight, and the gentle flow of air. In addition to this, the design incorporates ventilation ducts and breathable structural components, strategically placed to prevent moisture accumulation and stuffiness.
Research
This innovative project masterfully harnesses natural light and showcases an exterior design that features an elegant blue and white color scheme, which beautifully reflects the fresh and organic essence of Scandinavian aesthetics. Moreover, it artfully combines Japanese minimalist principles with a deep rooted philosophy of nature, resulting in an overall design that evokes the captivating concept of a breathing house.
Inspiration
This project is intricately designed around the theme of leisure and relaxation, aspiring to create a tranquil retreat where both the mind and body can find solace. To achieve this, the team employs a refined minimalist and warm Scandinavian design aesthetic, characterized by soft color palettes and rich wood grain patterns. These elements synergistically combine to foster a comfortable and high-quality living environment.
Project Duration
The project was finalized in Miaoli, Taiwan in September, 2025.
Operation Flow
Moreover, the design team has artfully utilized the natural grain of the solid wood, taking advantage of its temperature regulating properties to enrich the spatial layers and cultivate a comfortable, relaxing home environment. In the private areas, light-colored wood adorns the walls, complemented by soft, elegant tones that work together to create a fresh and pure ambiance.
