About Worry-free Garden Lichtinstallation

„Worry-free Garden“ (Sorgenfreier Garten) ist eine Lichtinstallation, die für ein öffentliches Lichtfestival in Penghu, Taiwan, geschaffen wurde. Die Installation zeigt eine Unterwasserszenerie aus Korallen, Seegras und Seepocken. Jede Form entsteht durch dreidimensionale Strickarbeiten aus Baumwolle. Eine gesteuerte LED-Beleuchtung verändert sich in Farbe und Rhythmus, sodass die Korallen in vielfältigen Farbtönen erscheinen. Die Arbeit misst 680 mal 390 mal 290 Zentimeter. Die Skulpturen bilden die Blickfänge des Ortes und werden von den Besucherinnen und Besuchern als Fotomotive genutzt. Ziel ist es, den Artenreichtum des Ozeans erlebbar zu machen.

Inspiration: The work was exhibited on the island of Taiwan. This place has the most beautiful bay in the world. In an event called "Island Paradise", this work aims to present the most gorgeous coral world in the ocean. It uses designer weaving expertise to present dreamy and pure images through lighting. This is the worry-free garden.
