Weclip ist eine mobile Anwendung, die für Investitionen in Videoinhalte über Non-Fungible Tokens konzipiert wurde. Die Plattform verleiht Videoinhalten den Status eines digitalen Vermögenswerts, sodass jedes Werk besessen, gehandelt und als Investition genutzt werden kann. Kreative laden Videos hoch und erhalten im Gegenzug Investitionen, während Zuschauer Content-Token erwerben und durch den Weiterverkauf Gewinne erzielen können. Die Non-Fungible-Token-Technologie erfasst die Eigentumsverhältnisse und verringert die unklare Urheberschaft digitaler Dateien. Weclip möchte den Wert des Inhalts selbst hervorheben – über Werbe- und Sponsoring-Einnahmen hinaus.

Unique Properties: weclip is a new concept video platform that allows you to invest in video content through non-fungible token (nft). provide opportunities for video creators to generate revenue and opportunities for viewers to invest, presenting new possibilities for the digital market.
Dimensions & Packaging: this design is made with Adobe xd. it is based on iPhone X 1125px x 2436px and the icon is designed with 24px x 24px.

Production Technology: nft non fungible-token technology
Design Challenge: due to the nature of digital content that exists in virtual form without material form, it was easy to replicate, resulting in a lack of concept of ownership or original author. this characteristic made it difficult to incorporate investment. to solve this problem, we used a blockchain technology called nft (non-fungible token) and incorporated investment into buying and selling content.
Research: we analyze online video content consumption and high investment in cryptocurrency among people in their 20s and 30s in korea through desk research. based on the growth of the nft market that buys and sells digital content through market research, it hypothesized that the most consumed online video content can be used as a means of investment in the future. in addition, marketability was verified through the interviews between real video creators and video content viewers.
Inspiration: the existing online video platform's revenue generation method was limited to advertising and sponsorship, so the value of the content itself was not highlighted. weclip presents the potential for a new marketplace where content can be assetized, invested, and sold by giving digital asset concepts to the video content itself through nft(non-fungible token).
