„Coach the Coaches“ ist ein Leitfaden für ein Fußball-Trainingsprogramm, das für Spieler im Alter von 10 bis 14 Jahren entwickelt wurde. Das Handbuch richtet sich an Fußballtrainer, damit sich das Programm in der täglichen Arbeit umsetzen lässt. Textlastige Ausgangsmaterialien wurden in klare Anleitungen übersetzt, die überwiegend aus Infografiken bestehen. Eine kräftige Farbpalette erleichtert die Navigation zwischen den Abschnitten, und die Länge des Balkens am Seitenrand kennzeichnet jeweils die Unterkategorie. Das Raster des Fußballfeldes und technische Anweisungen bilden die Grundlage des visuellen Stils.

Unique Properties: The guidebook for the training program developed for 10-14 years old footballers. It was created for football trainers so they could implement the training program in their everyday work. The main goal was to transform initial raw text-heavy materials into clear instructions and make navigation through different parts of the book as easy as possible. The solution was to use infographics instead of text and create visual focus on the book structure.
Inspiration: The complex structure of the book defined its design. The content was organized into similar blocks of information differ by data and composed on pages like a lego game. Every visual tool was used to help work with the book during the training session: the bold color palette helps to navigate through the sections, the length of the plate on the side of each page indicates the subcategory, etc. The football field grid along with technical instructions serves as underlying base for visual style.
Project Duration: The project started in January 2016 and the result was presented at the press conference dedicated to the launch of the "Coach the Coaches" program inOctober 2016
