About Jotape 3D Duo Das Schlüsselkunstbild

Die Idee bestand darin, ein Bild zu schaffen, das alle Merkmale des Produkts durch visuelle Elemente wie das Kissen und den Schaumstoff zum Ausdruck bringt. Dies verleiht dem Produkt das Gefühl von Weichheit, das es braucht. Die Inspiration waren die gängigen Materialien des Alltags. Die schwebenden Elemente vermitteln durch die weichen und runden Formen das Gefühl von Weichheit und Leichtigkeit. Obwohl es sich um eine einfache Darstellung handelte, war das Ergebnis etwas anderes als das Übliche. Die größte Herausforderung bestand darin, durch ein paar Elemente und Texturen die Wirkung zu erzielen, die das Produkt brauchte.

Unique Properties: The idea was to create an image that brings all the features of the product through visual elements like the cushion and the foam. Thus giving the sensation of softness that the product needed.
Dimensions & Packaging: 5000 x 5000px 300dpi
Tags: 3d boot, cgi shoe, shoe, shoe modelling, 3d shoe
Production Technology: The boot was modeled using photographs as a reference and hard surface 3D modeling techniques. For modeling we used the software 3ds Max. All the textures made using leather texture and some photoshop brushes. Vray was used for rendering. Nothing on the scene was scanned or photoscaned.
Design Challenge: The biggest challenge was that through a few elements and textures the sensation the product needed. Never forgetting to focus on the product itself as a primary element. Another complicated point was the modeling of the shoe itself, where I had to reproduce every detail of the product.
Research: The work was executed based mainly on the previous experiences in other works for several companies of the sector footwear, in very natural way. Feedback was collected mainly online about the quality of the 3D itself as well as the sensations that people had in the first contact with the art.
Inspiration: The inspiration was the common materials of the day to day. The floating elements bring through the soft and round shapes the sensation of softness and lightness. Even though it was a simple representation, the result was thought of something different from the usuall.
