Das weltweit erste Smartphone-gesteuerte verschlüsselte Flash-Laufwerk! Mit militärischer Sicherheit werden Daten auf Clexi mit höchster Sicherheitsstufe gespeichert. Auf Ihrem System wird keine zusätzliche Software oder ein zusätzliches Programm zum Ausführen benötigt. Clexi ist äußerst benutzerfreundlich, schnell und einfach zu bedienen. Plug, Tap and Play. Unique Properties: Clexi is a smartphone controlled encrypted flash drive which feels like a standard un encrypted one. no password needs to be required. no software needs to be installed. the USB drive security is managed on the mobile device just tap and go. Clexi app is compatible with both android and ios. Clexi flash drive is extremely user friendly highly secured and durable. also it has a unique and trendy design combining technology with a new look of USB drives and LED lights.

Production Technology: The main material that we have used is acrylonitrile butadiene styrene plastic ABS based on the bluetooth technology that we use.

Research: we have always had a challenge with managing and security and privacy the first step was to analyse best practices find security bugs and also thinking about what will improve user experience. we were searching for a meaningful relationship between aesthetic and function. actually we use design thinking methodology and used some tools like market research user analysis brain storming and also a deep dive in problem have been our main tools in our design process.
Inspiration: For the design we have inspired from the letter x as a sign of privacy rivets as security from roman imperial helmets. we have chosen rose gold and gray colors for a classic and trendy look for everyone. also LED light running around the USB plays a main role in user experience by changing colors.
we brought security convenience and a delightful design all together in a small and slim and fast USB drive.
Project Duration: The project has been started in August 2019 and will be finished in September 2020.
Operation Flow: Clexi operates based on bluetooth connection as a secure storage. user should get the app and plug the Clexi flash drive into the USB port Clexi will be blinking blue and looking to pair with a smartphone. a bluetooth pairing request dialog box will pop up on your smartphone and you need to select the pair button. Clexi get the biometric like face id and the light on the Clexi will turn into solid light. it is ready to use.
