Design Details

Unique Properties
In the heart of Tehran, Captain Restaurant is the combination of a handful of hospitality spaces representing different demographic groups of this 9 million inhabitants city; an old-fashioned restaurant, a lounge, a non-alcoholic bar, some private rooms, and a roof-top area are gathered in a 3 storey building. The palette of materials is a resonance of the Industrial design, with some additions, i.e.ropes, to make the brand of Captain as bold as possible.
Inspiration
Considering the name of the brand, Captain, and the similarity of the palette of the materials in a ship with the industrial look, we decided to implicitly reflect a ship atmosphere through the industrial style.
Project Duration and Location
The schematic design of the project started in August 2017 and project construction has been finished at the end of April. Completion Year: 2018 Gross Built Area: 1600 m2 Project location: Tehran, Iran
Specifications
The 15,000 SF area of the project is divided into four and a half levels: Basement including kitchen and administrative offices, ground level as the main dining area, two small private lounges as half stories, the first story as non-alcoholic bar and lounge, and the roof garden.
Keywords
