Regarding Butterfly Effect Multifunctional Bag
Butterfly Effect is a multifunctional handbag made of high quality vegetal calfskin leather. The bag is handmade and combines geometrical shapes in two colors. Gold rivets join the shapes, and a hidden magnetic snap allows practical opening and closing. A folding and opening function changes the size and the form, so the handbag can be used as a casual accessory, a shoulder bag or a clutch for evening wear. A removable pouch of chamois leather is included. A leather handle with a chain allows the bag to be carried on the shoulder.
About Ipek Cetinkaya
Ipek Cetinkaya is living in Düsseldorf in Germany. She studied Fashion Design at Anadolu University in Eskisehir in Turkey. After her studies, she worked as a Designer at Leather Accessory and Clothing Companies. In 2012 she attended at DETAY Leather Products Design Competition, at which she won 1st Place Award. Now She is working as a Freelancer.

- This multifunctional Handbag is designed to be functional and universal bag, which is adaptable to our accelerating life rhythm. The folding and opening function makes the bag as an accessory of the casual outfit as well as a Shoulder Bag or a Clutch for the elegant evening dress.
- Inspiration
- Inspired by the beautiful and colorful butterflies and called my design butterfly effect because this handbag can be changed from one state to another like a metaphor, whereby a small change can have a big effect.
- Research
- Nowadays women are more likely to be present everywhere and this means that they need to be prepared quickly for the next activity. A handbag is an indispensable accessory for a woman that needs to be changed depending on the situation and clothes. The steadily change of bag is sometimes very time-consuming. With this bag, this effort is eliminated by its functionality. Its elegance is like a butterfly and make it adaptable for every situation.
- Challenge
- This multifunctional bag adapts to the rapidly changing pace of life of women who are confident and always want to be elegant. I realized this special design with high quality leather and great craftsmanship in this bag.
- Realization and Technology
- A high-quality vegetal calfskin leather is used for the manufacturing of this hand-made innovative bag. The geometrical shapes and the combination of two colors gives a special effect. Gold Rivets are used as bounding element of the geometrical shapes. Hidden magnetic snap is used for the practical opening and closing function. There is a pouch, which is made of shammy leather, can be taken out or used in bag. There is a leather handle with chain to carry the bag on shoulder.
