Uncontrolled Love is a publicity project for a public exhibition against domestic violence. The project includes a website, posters and an animated video. The exhibition presents the negative effects of domestic violence on children through real events and works of art. Visitors are shown how such treatment can harm the physical and mental health of children. Deep colors and a carefully developed painting style were selected to make the message direct and engaging. About Ziyue Hu

Her name is Hu Ziyue, and her English name is Leah. She is a senior student of Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts and Salford University in Manchester, UK. Her main achievement is that she has excelled in school and has won the Excellent award of China Jindu Award. I once worked as an intern for two months in A Media company in China. I love taking pictures and I love designing. My friends make me very interesting.

Design Details

Unique Properties: This is a publicity work for a public exhibition against domestic violence, which includes website design, poster design and animated video publicity. In this exhibition ,we show the negative effects of domestic violence on children from the perspectives of real events and works of art ，so that visitors can realize how much this kind of education can harm children’s physical and mental health.In order to make parents aware of the wrong way to stop the domestic violence against children.
Inspiration: We were inspired by all the current events in the news and by our own experiences of domestic violence growing up. Too many children today live in the shadow of domestic violence. Their hearts are weak and incomplete. Parents are always doing harm to their children invisibly. It could be physical violence, apathy or a strong desire to control. Even if sometimes parents just want to vent their worries, what they say unintentionally can have a lifelong negative impact on their children.
Research: What we are studying is different types of domestic violence and the impact of domestic violence on children's development. We collect news materials and related statistics on the Internet to provide conceptual support for our work. Our goal is to change parents' attitude towards children's education, so that parents can reflect on whether they inadvertently hurt their children in the process of education.
Challenge: The most difficult part of this design activity is how to present the contents of the exhibition to the audience in a more straightforward and appealing way. In terms of color style and pictures, we have chosen deep and appealing content. The style of painting is also the result of many attempts.
