Regarding Genie Gift Packaging

Genie is a handmade gift packaging designed to hold a pen. The opening method is inspired by the form of a magic lamp, creating a sense of mystery when the gift is received. The body is shaped with diamond like geometric facets for a luxurious appearance. Walnut wood from Iranian gardens is engraved by a skilled carpenter to form the surface and volume. The interior is lined with natural leather to hold the pen securely. A hinge moves the pen holder as the lid opens, raising the holder to a vertical position. The package measures 195 mm long, 70 mm wide and 58 mm high.

Since I know myself, Art has already been my big concern. One of the most important and enjoyable interest in my life is doing and watching artworks. Before I got graduated from university in graphic design, I had started my career as an internship in printing and designing packages. I tried to do my best to create creative designs in order to become unique and popular artist. I have always enjoyed visiting galleries and seeing other artists` designs and I think, they could be inspirational and let me come up with more brilliant ideas. Generally, I love art and music specifically.

Unique Properties: To create a pleasant experience when receiving a gift with an unknown and mysterious ambience, the opening technique is inspired by the form of a magic lamp.
Inspiration: To create a pleasant experience when receiving a gift with an unknown and mysterious ambience, the opening technique is inspired by the form of a magic lamp. The diamond geometric shape was used to make the package body and brings luxurious and ultimately sense for customers and audiences.
Research: Researching program is very important things that used in this project.
Challenge: Finding the best material and producer is the main challenge of this project.
Realization and Technology: This is a handmade package.
Operation and Interaction: This is very hard to explain that how we designed this project.
Project Duration and Location: The project started in May 2017 and completed on July 2017, Tehran - Iran.
Specifications: The material used in making the packaging has been selected from the best walnut wood in Iran's gardens, and with the skilled hands of a master carpenter, the surface and volume have been engraved on it. The interior is covered with natural leather so that the pen is snuggled up and mighty. Finally, when the lid is opened, the pen holder moves simultaneously with the help of a connecting hinge and when the lid is wide open, it gets vertically in place which impresses the audience even more. 195 mm L x 70 mm W x 58 mm H This is a handmade package.
