About Psync Camera Genie S Security Camera
Psync Camera Genie S is an indoor home security camera. The body is shaped with simple geometric forms, and the folding structure shows the current working state through direction and movement. The open box form allows the camera to be closed when not in use. The L-shaped head holds a compact camera module, forming a small dual-axis unit. Images are recorded at 2K resolution in a vertical full-screen format. The plastic body is injection molded, the lens is ground glass, and the shaft covers are machined metal.
About Milian Lu and Duo Li
DUO LI was born in Jinzhou, Liaoning Province,China in 1988. When he was young, his family engaged in auto parts sales. Since he was a child, he has been exposed to thousands of parts from small screws to large bearing tires, which has brought profound influence on his future design road. When he was young, he had a wide range of interests and hobbies. In middle school, he took painting classes with his friends. When the teacher saw that he was bored, he gave him a drawing board and a pencil. In 2007, I was admitted to Liaoning University of Technology, majoring in transportation industrial design. In 2011, the Volkswagen concept SUV I designed was awarded as an excellent graduation work.

- It is designed in homage to the Bauhaus and we emphasize more on the functional and practical abilities. Without complicated design, we use simple, clear geometrical forms to shape the body of the product, hoping it can perfectly serve the functions. We differentiate our product from competitors by innovating transformable design. The current working state can be easily checked due to the directional and deformation abilities, providing uses all-new experience.
- Research
- Competitive product analysis, Conduct desk research on similar products in the current market, including analysis of functions, features, forms and costs, to find innovation opportunities and directions. The concrete design of the brand concept uses the overall shape, curves,surfaces and detailed features to sort out a unique form of expression and form a unique design language. Computer-aided completion of three-dimensional surface modeling, simulation and component stacking of products. In order to meet the product form, self-developed camera modules include optical design, device selection, electronic material patching, etc.
