About Aroma Residential Space Design
Aroma is a residential interior design for a home of 661 square meters in New Taipei City. Aroma is a renovation of the house where the owner grew up, and the design preserves the nostalgic atmosphere of the original home. Cypress wood is used so that memories can be recalled through scent, texture and color. Materials include Fenix flooring, stone marble, Imora sintered stone, Bolon carpet, multi-layered wooden flooring and Hunter Douglas curtains. A painting closes the corridor, and an open fire warms the living area.

- The aroma of cypress tree is the doorway to memories that reappears along the trail of fragrance. Recollections of past events condense within the painting that hangs at the end of the corridor. Home is the aggregation of memories. It is re-portrayed through modern craftsmanship and warms the body and mind with blazing fire.
