Design Details

Unique Properties
This low-alcohol semi-sweet white wine from China's Chateau Loulan artfully blends the legend of the "Loulan Beauty" with the "flying white" technique of Chinese calligraphy. Its label features an openwork design inspired by this art form, creating a visual narrative that reveals the wine's hue and evokes the winery's storied past on the Silk Road, thereby enhancing its brand distinction and market position.
Inspiration
Inspired by the unique brand culture of Chateau Loulan, this design fuses the legendary "Loulan Beauty" with powerful calligraphic strokes at the bottle base, bringing the Silk Road legend to life. The "flying white" openwork reveals both the wine and the spirit of Loulan. It's more than wine—it's art, heritage, and nature's gift in one.
Research
As consumer discernment grows in China's wine market, semi-sweet white wines have emerged as a favorite among young women. Answering this trend, the winery has created a distinctive offering by weaving the story of its homeland—the vast desert and the legendary "Loulan Beauty"—into the very design of its wine. This unique identity has successfully elevated brand recognition and secured its status as a choice beverage for a new generation.
Challenge
Consumer awareness of Chinese wines remains underdeveloped. It is essential to conduct an in-depth exploration of Chateau Loulan's brand culture and winemaking heritage, supported by systematic competitor analysis. This approach will help guide consumers to authentically experience the distinctive charm of its semi-sweet white wine, thereby reshaping their perception of Chinese wine and broadening their understanding.
Realization and Technology
The design masterfully employs metal's properties through partial coloring and a frosted finish to depict the Loulan Beauty. Fixed to the glass bottle, the metal label forms a semi-transparent window that hints at the semi-sweet white wine within and tells the unique story of Chateau Loulan. This approach offers users both aesthetic appeal and emotional resonance, elevating the overall experience and perceived value.
Operation and Interaction
The "Loulan Beauty" plaque masterfully employs metal with partial coloring and a frosted finish for a distinct aesthetic, while the "flying white" calligraphy on the bottle base evokes the winery's desert landscape. This design engages consumers visually and tactilely, connecting them to the brand's heritage. By communicating Chateau Loulan's unique story, it delivers a dual experience of beauty and emotional resonance, elevating both user experience and brand value.
