About Kavi Snap Fit Function
Kavi is a snap-fit clip designed to join picture frames of different sizes. The clip combines a symmetrical L-shaped clamp with flexible tabs, so frames can be assembled and separated by hand without tools. Frames from 8 to 20 millimetres thick are supported, and the arrangement can be changed at any time. Each clip measures 5 by 3.2 by 1.4 centimetres and is made of high-strength POM, a material resistant to wear and bending. The clips remain hidden behind the frames, so the front view stays neat.

- Unique Properties
- The Kavi multi-size frame snap fasteners feature an innovative symmetrical "L"-shaped clamp and flexible clips, allowing for tool-free, easy installation. They support various frame sizes and arrangements to meet different needs in any setting. Made from strong, wear-resistant POM, the modular design is both durable and flexible, making them a smart upgrade from traditional connectors.
- Inspiration
- The inspiration for the design of the Kavi multi-size frame clip stemmed from the desire of users to freely combine picture frames of various dimensions. To meet this need, we have pioneered a tool-free snap-fit structure, significantly streamlining and expediting the assembly process. Through this elegantly simple clip design, frames of any size may be seamlessly joined together, greatly enhancing compositional flexibility while preserving an overall sense of harmony and visual appeal.
- Research
- Through our investigation of similar frame connectors available on the market, we discovered that most existing products tend to be cumbersome to install, are compatible with only a single frame size, and often lack aesthetic appeal. Approximately 30% of users report difficulties with assembly and disassembly. In response to these issues, we have introduced the Kavi tool-free combination buckle that accommodates frame sizes ranging from 8 to 20mm. Crafted from POM material, each Kavi buckle can be installed in under five seconds.
- Challenge
- Throughout the product design and implementation process, we focused on resolving key challenges such as single-handed installation, multi-size frame compatibility, and ensuring stability without deformation when suspended. By employing an innovative Kavi press-lock mechanism, we achieved tool-free, rapid assembly with just one hand. The adjustable Kavi clamping structure guarantees a secure connection for frames ranging from 8 to 20mm in thickness. High-strength POM material and a concealed Kavi rear clip ensure both safety and elegance whether the frame is upright or hanging.
- Realization and Technology
- Made from high-strength, milky-white POM, the Kavi frame clip is highly durable, resistant to wear and bending. Precision molding ensures a perfect fit for many standard frame types. Strict quality checks at every stage guarantee a smooth finish and safe, rounded edges. Easy to install and secure, it delivers a strong and reliable experience for any frame arrangement.
- Operation and Interaction
- The Kavi frame buckle is exceptionally easy to operate; users simply select the required number of buckles according to the desired arrangement of frames. To use, align the buckle with the adjoining edges of the frames and press gently from side to side to secure them firmly, all without the need for any tools.
