Fields is a multi functional outdoor sun lounger. It can be used as a regular sun lounger and can easily be transformed into a sofa, simply by flipping up the backrests and installing the backrest cushions. No screws or complicated fixations, simply flip up the backrests and enjoy. Great for people with small outdoor spaces. - Fields was designed for those people who have limited outdoor space available but still wan to enjoy the outdoor life in a very comfortable way, during the daytime and at night!
- Research
- More and more people have limited spaces indoors and especially outdoors. The challenge was to design an outdoor piece of furniture that could provide a suitable answer to the outdoor needs of 'city people'.
- Challenge
- Although the design looks simple, it took quite some effort to get all the dimensions and ergonimics correct. Espacially the double function of the product needed a lot of attention.
