Could you please tell us about your experience as a designer, artist, architect or creator?

I studied interior and architecture design in Nottingham Trent University. After graduate, I worked in IMAGINATION group retail department as an interior designer for 2 year. After 5 years interior work experience in China, I decided to open my own business and established JY design practice.

What is your growth path? What are your future plans? What is your dream design project?

My future plan is create space for wellness and Healthcare

Pizza Marzano Select Restaurant · 2 questions

From the core pizza geometry concept,the half circle shape fully applied along the faced opening structure to the column and kitchen walls of interior.

What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?

From the core pizza geometry concept,the half circle shape fully applied along the faced opening structure to the column and kitchen walls of interior. All the operation function fixture like POS station,the dividing partition,the take away stand and storage cabinet are designed with all shapes and became part of the space design rather than an individual function fixture.

What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?

The most difficult challenge is to applying the big scale curve shape into different area with different custom material in the condition of very low budget.

Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer?

I studied interior and architecture design in Nottingham Trent University. After graduate, I worked in IMAGINATION group retail department as an interior designer for 2 year. After 5 years interior work experience in China, I decided to open my own business and established JY design practice.

Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?

JY design practice is a professional interior and architectural design consulting company. The company was founded by Michelle Sun. While injecting international and diversified creativity. Adhering to the concept of respecting the domestic culture, JYDP mainly engage in various projects such as medical care, lifestyle, catering, business, office and hotel.

JYDP focuses on the changing zeitgeist and way of life, creating more value for projects and brands through the creativity of constant development. On the basis of respecting customers' ideas, integrate unique creativity. The pursuit of excellence at the same time, and strive to make every project into a boutique

JYDP pays attention to the international concept, and infuses has the innovation and the forward-looking design thinking, has won the international famous design award many times. In today's competitive business trends, JYDP from space to consider not only, more with the brand and the competitiveness of the project as a starting point, through the project background, business model, competitive and commercial value, such as understanding and analysis, so as to achieve accurate space design, to provide overall solution of the space, pay attention to the project from the integrity of the concept design and the ground.
