About Aesthetics and Chinese Σχεδιασμός Αφίσας

Η Αισθητική και τα Κινέζικα είναι μια σειρά αφισών βασισμένη στον σχεδιασμό κινεζικών χαρακτήρων. Η δομή κάθε χαρακτήρα δημιουργείται από τις ριζικές του πινελιές, οι οποίες παρουσιάζονται σε περιστροφικές και βαθμιαίες διατάξεις. Η σειρά μετατρέπει το γραπτό κείμενο σε οπτικά σύμβολα και χρησιμοποιεί τον σχεδιασμό γραμματοσειράς ως σύγχρονη μορφή έκφρασης. Αφίσες, προσκλήσεις και ένα βιβλίο εκτυπώθηκαν για να αναδείξουν τις μορφές των χαρακτήρων. Οι αφίσες έχουν διαστάσεις 70 επί 100 εκατοστά. Το έργο παρουσιάζει την κινεζική γλώσσα και τους χαρακτήρες της ως ένα διαχρονικό πολιτισμικό απόθεμα του Ανατολικού πολιτισμού.

Unique Properties: This series of works is based on the design of Chinese characters as the main visual design axis. The structure of the Chinese characters formed by the radical strokes of the Chinese characters is presented in a rotating and gradient manner.

Production Technology: In order to highlight the font design, the printed design is specially printed with posters and invitation cards.
Design Challenge: The most difficult part of the design process is the design of Chinese fonts. The structural considerations and visual aesthetics in the fonts must be noted.
Research: Chinese and Chinese characters are important assets for the long-term and continuous development of oriental culture. The work takes Chinese character design as the main design core, and reproduces this cross-border oriental style design energy in contemporary art and literature trends, and actively displays Chinese and Chinese character books. The art and culture are rich in design capacity.
Inspiration: 2019 Creative Poster Design Exhibition: A Crossover between Aesthetics and Chinese Characters” will employ “the beauty of Chinese language and characters” as the design elements to transform texts into visual symbols; “innovation” as the central idea, and font design as a brand new embodiment approach, through the design of posters, to probe the future possibilities which are in line with the beauty of "crossover", "aesthetics" and "Chinese characters”.
Project Duration: October 2019 to complete the design.

Operation Flow: The design of the structure of the Chinese character font using the strokes of the font line requires a lot of time and testing.
