About Time Book Βιβλιοστάτης
Το Time Book είναι ένας βιβλιοστάτης σχεδιασμένος για χρήση σε γραφείο ή σε ράφι βιβλιοθήκης. Κάθε βιβλιοστάτης είναι κατασκευασμένος από ένα χειροποίητα γυαλισμένο μπλοκ κρυστάλλινου γυαλιού. Ειδικό μελάνι τυπώνεται με μεταξοτυπία στην επιφάνεια και σταθεροποιείται σε υψηλή θερμοκρασία. Η υψηλή πυκνότητα του κρυστάλλινου γυαλιού προσδίδει στον βιβλιοστάτη σταθερότητα κατά τη χρήση. Ο σχεδιασμός είναι μινιμαλιστικός ως προς τη λειτουργία, τη μορφή και το υλικό, και θυμίζει γλυπτό σε σχήμα βιβλίου. Η μορφή αναδεικνύει με σαφήνεια τη λειτουργία. Το τυπωμένο κείμενο χρησιμοποιεί τη γραμματοσειρά Quinsay Parto. Τα γράμματα MMXIX στη ράχη είναι οι λατινικοί αριθμοί για το 2019.

- Unique Properties
- Bookends are made by hand-polished crystal glass blocks. Special ink was screen printed on the surface and cured at high temperature. The high density of crystal glass gives them perfect stability when in use.
Time Book is minimalistic in terms of function, form and material, it’s like a book-shaped sculpture. The function is clearly presented by its form.
The text on the book uses Quinsay Parto typeface designed by Time book’s designer. The “MMXIX” on the book spine is the Roman numeral writing of “2019”. - Dimensions & Packaging

- Time Book is inspired by Marquez’s novel. The opening of “One Hundred Years of Solitude” is printed on Time Book. It is the beginning of a great novel.
- Project Duration
- The project started in April 2018 and finished in December 2018 in Hangzhou(China), and was exhibited in Museum of Contemporary Art Shanghai in February 2019.
