About M Two Σπίτι
Το M Two είναι μια κατοικία που βρίσκεται στις παρυφές ενός χωριού πάνω σε λόφο στη Λεμεσό της Κύπρου. Ο σχεδιασμός και τα υλικά ταιριάζουν με το φυσικό τοπίο και σέβονται τον παραδοσιακό σχεδιασμό των χωριάτικων σπιτιών, με μια σύγχρονη αισθητική. Η κάτοψη ακολουθεί το παραδοσιακό σχήμα «πι», το οποίο προσδίδει μια ήρεμη και εργονομική ροή μεταξύ εσωτερικού και εξωτερικού χώρου. Οι οικογενειακοί και δημόσιοι χώροι συνδυάζονται μεταξύ τους, λειτουργώντας όμως ανεξάρτητα και προσφέροντας ιδιωτικότητα όπου χρειάζεται. Τέσσερις χώροι διαβίωσης επιτρέπουν την απόλαυση όλων των πτυχών της θέας προς τα βουνά και τη θάλασσα. Η παλέτα χρωμάτων χρησιμοποιεί φυσικές αποχρώσεις μπεζ, καφέ, πράσινου και μπλε.

Το σχέδιο M Two Σπίτι κέρδισε το Σιδερένιο Βραβείο A' Design Award, μια διακεκριμένη αναγνώριση που απονέμεται σε καλά σχέδια που πληρούν τις επαγγελματικές και βιομηχανικές απαιτήσεις που αναμένονται από καλοσχεδιασμένες δημιουργίες. Οι νικητές του Σιδερένιου Βραβείου επιδεικνύουν μεγάλη δεξιοτεχνία, υψηλή εξειδίκευση, ειδική κατανόηση και δημιουργική ικανότητα των δημιουργών τους. - Unique Properties
- Located at the outskirts of a village, the design and materials of the house suit both the natural landscape and respect the traditional village-house designs but with a modern aesthetic. The layout is a traditional ‘pi’ Π shape that gives a calm and ergonomic flow between interior and exterior. We wanted the family and public spaces of the house to blend seamlessly but function independently and offer privacy where needed. Four living areas allow all aspects of the view to be enjoyed.
- Inspiration
- The inspiration came from the immediate environment. It is on a hill with uninterrupted views of both mountain and sea. It is north facing and perfectly orientated for the sun, light, air and views. We wanted a seamless flow between the interior and exterior so that wherever you are in the house, you would always have a beautiful outlook. With the native landscape as our palette, we used natural colours of beige rock, brown wood, mountain olive greens and blue water to reflect the facing Mediterranean Sea.
