About Stoniture Καναπές
Το Stoniture είναι ένας καναπές εμπνευσμένος από τη μορφή της φυσικής πέτρας. Ο σχεδιασμός διαθέτει καμπύλη ακμή και ευρεία επιφάνεια στήριξης, ώστε να προσφέρει μια άνετη και χαλαρή θέση καθίσματος. Ο αφρός του καθίσματος προσαρμόζεται ελαφρώς υπό το βάρος, έτσι ώστε η επιφάνεια καθίσματος να ακολουθεί το σώμα. Η δομή του σκελετού είναι κατασκευασμένη από ξύλο, ενώ το κάθισμα περιέχει αφρό πυκνότητας 30. Ο καναπές έχει διαστάσεις 110 επί 95 επί 50 εκατοστά. Το απλό σχήμα έχει σκοπό να αντανακλά την απλότητα της φυσικής πέτρας και να δημιουργεί μια αίσθηση οικειότητας. Το Stoniture σχεδιάστηκε στην Τεχεράνη το 2023.

- Unique Properties
- The furniture piece is designed with a curved edge and a proper support surface to provide a comfortable and relaxing position. The seat foam adjusts slightly when sitting, ensuring a comfortable experience for the user. The simple design of the furniture piece is meant to reflect the simplicity and beauty of natural stone.

- The size of the sofa is 110*95*50 cm.

- The main goal of the project was to create a concept based on natural environmental elements and respect for the environment. The main challenge in designing the project was to create a functional and aesthetically pleasing design that captures the essence of the designer's inspiration while also meeting the practical needs of users.
- Research
- For designing this project, the designer do research about the properties and characteristics of natural stone and how to translate those into a functional piece of furniture. Also, he did research about different materials and production methods to ensure that the furniture piece is durable and can withstand regular use.
- Inspiration
- The designer drew inspiration from natural stone, one of the most primitive elements of nature, to create a sense of familiarity and trust at an intuitive level. The designer aimed to evoke the feeling of being surrounded by nature, where the user feels like a stone around which water flows.
- Project Duration
- It has been designed in Tehran in 2023.
- Operation Flow
- The interaction between the natural element of stone and the function of the furniture has determined the current form. The designer aimed to create a furniture piece that feels like a part of nature, creating a unique blend of nature and functionality.
