About Symphony Εσωτερικός Χώρος Αίθουσας Συναυλιών Ορχήστρας
Το Symphony είναι ένας εσωτερικός χώρος αίθουσας συναυλιών σχεδιασμένος για παραστάσεις συμφωνικής ορχήστρας. Το έργο αποτελεί ανακατασκευή ενός υφιστάμενου χώρου 1000 τετραγωνικών μέτρων με σύνθετο γεωμετρικό σχήμα, που βρίσκεται στο Βίλνιους της Λιθουανίας. Χρησιμοποιήθηκε μια αρθρωτή προσέγγιση, βασισμένη σε τυποποιημένα στοιχεία όπως ρόμβοι, τρίγωνα και λείες και ραβδωτές επιφάνειες. Τα στοιχεία αυτά συναρμολογήθηκαν και προσαρμόστηκαν ώστε να συνδυάζουν την ακουστική ποιότητα με την οπτική γοητεία. Οι τοίχοι είναι κατασκευασμένοι από γυψοσανίδα επενδεδυμένη με καπλαμά δρυός, με φωτεινές λωρίδες ανάμεσά τους. Τα μοτίβα των τοίχων παραπέμπουν σε αρχαία λιθουανικά μοτίβα.

- Unique Properties
- Main objective was to achieve an entirely new acoustic standard, tailored specifically for symphony orchestra performances. We adopted a "lego constructor" philosophy, we meticulously devised several standard elements such as rhombuses, triangles, and both smooth and ribbed planes. Subsequently, we methodically assembled the interior using these components, adjusting their placement—adding or subtracting as necessary—to achieve a harmonious blend of acoustical excellence and aesthetic appeal.

- This is not a new hall. It is a reconstructed 1000m2 space with a complex geometric shape.

- Production Technology
- For the wall decor, we used plasterboards covered with oak veneer, with LED strips in between. Oak parquet flooring. Ceilings painted plasterboard.
- Design Challenge
- We adopted a "lego constructor" philosophy, wherein, in collaboration with acousticians (the acoustic aspect of the project overseen by the "Akustika plus" team), we meticulously devised several standard elements such as rhombuses, triangles, and both smooth and ribbed planes. Subsequently, we methodically assembled the interior using these components, adjusting their placement—adding or subtracting as necessary—to achieve a harmonious blend of acoustical excellence and aesthetic appeal.
- Inspiration
- We were inspired by ancient Lithuanian ethnic motifs and the old runic alphabet. We decided to integrate ethnic elements into the modern new concert hall to make the space more mystical. You can find these motifs on the decorated walls.
- Project Duration
- The project started in September 2019.
Reconstruction completion March 2023.
The renovated building is located in Vilnius, Lithuania. - Operation Flow
- The primary focus of the symphony orchestra hall is the listener. Our main objective was to achieve an entirely new acoustic standard (the object is reconstruction), tailored specifically for symphony orchestra performances of the highest caliber.
