About Design Rs For Valencia Σειρά Αφισών

Το Design Rs for Valencia είναι μια σειρά τριών αφισών που δημιουργήθηκε για μια φιλανθρωπική πώληση μετά τις πλημμύρες της Dana. Οι αφίσες φέρουν τους τίτλους Ψυχές του Νερού, Ίχνη Αλληλεγγύης και Μπότες Ελπίδας. Η αφίσα Ψυχές του Νερού παρουσιάζει το νερό τόσο ως καταστροφική όσο και ως ζωοδότρα δύναμη. Η αφίσα Ίχνη Αλληλεγγύης αναφέρεται στη διαρκή επίδραση της συλλογικής στήριξης. Η αφίσα Μπότες Ελπίδας αναφέρεται στη δράση και την ανάκαμψη. Κάθε αφίσα βασίζεται σε μια λεπτομερή εικονογράφηση και τυπώνεται σε μέγεθος A0. Όλα τα έσοδα από την πώληση της περιορισμένης έκδοσης διατέθηκαν για τις προσπάθειες ανακούφισης από τις πλημμύρες.

Unique Properties: Designers for Valencia is a creative solidarity initiative responding to the aftermath of the DANA floods. In collaboration with Gràffica and powered by Truyol Digital, Squared contributed original artworks for a limited-edition charity sale. This project demonstrates the power of design as a force for social good, transforming creativity into tangible aid while fostering a sense of unity and collective impact within the creative community.

Production Technology: Crafted with meticulous illustrations, each poster was designed to evoke emotion and solidarity. Printed by Truyol Digital using high-quality materials and precision techniques.
Design Challenge: The creative challenge consisted in showing both the devastating consequences and giving hope in one single illustration.
Research: There was no research needed.
Inspiration: The three posters - Souls of Water, Solidarity Traces, and Boots of Hope, embody resilience, unity, and renewal in response to the DANA floods.
Souls of Water symbolizes the dual power of water, both destructive and life-giving, honouring those affected.
Solidarity Traces captures the lasting impact of collective support and shared responsibility.
Boots of Hope represents action and recovery, reminding us that every step forward makes a difference.
Project Duration: The project started around November 2024 and finished in February 2025.
Operation Flow: The project engages the community through art-driven fundraising. Supporters purchase limited-edition posters, with all proceeds donated to DANA relief efforts. Each design serves as both a collectible artwork and a symbol of solidarity, transforming creativity into direct aid.
