About Folded 01 Manĝoĉambra Seĝo
Folded 01 estas manĝoĉambra seĝo. La sidloko kaj la dorsapogilo estas formitaj el ununura folio de kruda aluminio, fleksita permane. La faldita formo donas al la seĝo rigidecon kaj naturan fleksefekton kiu aldonas komforton. La aluminia folio estas muntita sur kolora ŝtala kadro, kiu provizas subtilan koloran detalon. La dezajno estis inspirita de la faldado de kvadrata papera noto, kiu iĝas rigida post faldiĝo. La seĝo mezuras 450 mm en larĝo, 500 mm en profundo kaj 800 mm en alto. La celo estis reveni al la esenco de la objekto kun minimuma aspekto.

- Unique Properties
- Folded 01 is the latest design by Erno Dierckx.By experimenting with production methods a dinningchair was born.
Erno Dierckx tries to challenge the way excitingchairs are constructed and goes back to the essence of the product. The object has a minimalistic yet sophisticated look. The chair consists out of honestand durable materials with a subtle color detail. - Dimensions & Packaging

- Production Technology
- The chair consist out of a hand bended aluminum sheet. The raw material is combined with a coloured steel frame.
- Design Challenge
- The main challenge was te find a reliable folding technique with a minimal and beautiful appearance
- Inspiration
- The idea started while playing with a post-it note used to right down ideas. By folding the square sheet a rigid shape arises. This technique was used to construct a chair. The folded chair consists out of a raw aluminum sheet bend by hand and mounted on a colored steel frame.
- Project Duration
- Project started Februari 2018 in Antwerp Belgium and finished november 2019. First time exhibited Contemporary design fair Brussels.
- Operation Flow
- Folded 01 is a dinning chair made out of a single sheet raw aluminum. The folding technique gives the chair the needed comfort and has a natural bending effect
