About The Dew Tetera

The Dew es una tetera fabricada en vidrio y acero inoxidable. Su método de infusión se inspira en la tradicional cafetera italiana. Las hojas de té se colocan en la cámara superior. Al voltear The Dew, la presión del aire desplaza el líquido desde la parte superior hacia la inferior. Las hojas de té permanecen en la parte superior, de modo que la parte inferior se convierte en la jarra de servicio. Su forma se inspira en la formación de una gota de rocío, que crece lentamente a medida que se acumula la humedad, de manera muy similar a la infusión gradual del té.

Unique Properties: Green represents not only the tea culture, but is healthierthan its competitor coffee, or even black tea, its own kind. Therefore, that is why I created The Dew teapot, the function of the teapot is inspired by Italian traditional coffee maker. By playing with the air pressure upside down, the liquid of tea at the upper part return to the lower part and leaves the tea leaves at the upper part, the lower part become the teapot and the user could enjoy the tea.

Inspiration: The inspiration of the teapot was taken from hundreds of drawings of the formation of the dewdrop. The formation of the dewdrop is a process of accumulation, wherein it will absorb moisture and grows gradually. Just like the tea making process of teapot The Dew. It also gives me inspiration about the aesthetics of the teapot's shape.
