About Gloria Anillo, pulsera

Gloria es una colección de joyería que incluye un anillo y una pulsera. El diseño se inspira en el halo, ese aro luminoso que los artistas pintan alrededor de la cabeza de los santos como señal de virtud. Los aros principales del anillo y el cuerpo de la pulsera se modelan a mano a partir de alambre. Las piedras también se elaboran a mano con materiales naturales, sin colorantes químicos ni sustancias añadidas, de modo que puedan regresar a la naturaleza. Las piezas pueden llevarse por separado o combinadas, por lo que tanto la forma como la función pueden transformarse. La intención es expresar la elevación del espíritu humano en un objeto que puede llevarse puesto.

The stones in this collection are made out of unique, environment friendly and completely natural materials.

Production Technology: The main shanks of the ring and the body of the bracelet are made by wire handforming and the stones’ materials are totally natural and environment friendly and in fact, no sort of chemical colors or substances has been used during the process of making.
Design Challenge: After searching in various features of natural materials, manifold techniques were tested to specify the optimal crafting method; so eventually a crafting process was selected out of sustainable and unique methods for making the stones of this collection.
Research: The design data of this collection and specially its stones, are garnered through information gathering and field & empirical studies.
Inspiration: (Gloria), In the dictionary it means halo, worshiping and praying of God the Almighty.The halo is a luminous ring which artists paint around the head of Saints or Mormons; this was used as the inspiration of the design.
Project Duration: This project started in 2017 and ended in 2019 after making the preliminary prototypes.
