About Lumino El Banco De Una Sola Calle

Este banco está hecho de un tubo trenzado monolítico. Hay tres tipos de materiales según el entorno: material de superficie sólida similar a la piedra, plástico acrílico brillante, material acrílico semitransparente. El tercero permite que el banco se vea sólido a la luz del día y transparente por la noche cuando la iluminación interna comienza a brillar. Para esta versión del banco, hay un panel solar montado en la parte superior para que pueda tener una fuente de alimentación independiente. La forma simple y el diseño suave pueden garantizar que sea resistente a la intemperie, antivandalismo y fácil de limpiar. Una escultura de ciudad que también puede ser útil.

Unique Properties: This single bench is a piece of street furniture which needs to have several very important characteristics - weather resistant, anti-vandal and easy to clean. The simple shape, smooth design and no exposed fixation can ensure all of these.

Production Technology: There are three types of materials depending on the environment: solid surface stone-like material, acrylic shiny plastic, semi-transparent acrylic material
Design Challenge: There are two things here that are challenging - the manufacturing and the installation. Produce it in one solid piece will be quite difficult so it will be separated in parts. That will make the installation easier.
Research: Suitable materials for city environment
Inspiration: The aim was to create a piece of street furniture using one monolith single twisted pipe. To be not only a bench but also some kind of a city sculpture, a piece of art that can also be usefull
Project Duration: Total duration of development - six months
Operation Flow: Material allows the bench to look solid at daylight and be transparent at night when the internal illumination starts to glow.
