About Nudibranch Hotel y complejo turístico

Nudibranch es un hotel y complejo turístico ubicado en la isla de Nanji, en la provincia de Zhejiang, China. El diseño abarca 31.000 metros cuadrados y se inspira en las criaturas marinas que habitan alrededor de la isla, como el nudibranquio y otros moluscos. El edificio se eleva sobre patas blandas que conectan el terreno con los restaurantes, los bares, un spa y una piscina. La zona pública semeja un espacio flotante sobre la arena. El suelo arenoso se prolonga hacia el interior del hotel y conforma un patio de recreo al aire libre a la sombra. Las tecnologías ecológicas reducen el impacto ambiental.

Unique Properties: The building blends the boundaries between the building and the landscape by its organic form and flexible connectivity; it sits on the site like a nudibranch crouching on the peaceful bay. Many Eco-friendly technologies have been installed to minimize the environment impact.
Dimensions & Packaging: 31000 Sq Meters
Inspiration: The design is inspired by sea creatures, which the island is famous for, such as nudibranch and other shellfish. This “mollusk” lifts itself by its soft legs and stretches its tentacles to explore different directions.The public part resembles a floating space above the sand. The sandy ground blends into the hotel to become an outdoor playground in the shadow cast by the building above. The legs connect the ground to restaurants and bars, and the SPA and swimming pool to to the public space.
