About Worry-free Garden Instalación lumínica

Worry-free Garden (Jardín sin preocupaciones) es una instalación lumínica creada para un festival público de luz en Penghu, Taiwán. La instalación representa una escena submarina de corales, praderas marinas y percebes. Cada forma se elabora mediante tejido de punto tridimensional en algodón. La iluminación LED, controlada, varía en color y ritmo, de modo que los corales se muestran en múltiples tonalidades. La obra mide 680 por 390 por 290 centímetros. Las esculturas actúan como puntos focales del emplazamiento y los visitantes las utilizan como escenarios fotográficos. El objetivo es presentar la rica ecología del océano.

Production Technology: This work uses three dimensional weaving to present the shapes of corals, seagrass and barnacles; they are the biggest features of this work. Various changes are produced by the rhythm of the light.

Inspiration: The work was exhibited on the island of Taiwan. This place has the most beautiful bay in the world. In an event called "Island Paradise", this work aims to present the most gorgeous coral world in the ocean. It uses designer weaving expertise to present dreamy and pure images through lighting. This is the worry-free garden.
