About Dragon Diseño de interiores de restaurante
Dragon es un interior de restaurante ubicado dentro de un edificio de oficinas de tecnología financiera en Pekín. El diseño abarca 2500 metros cuadrados y busca una atmósfera serena basada en elementos naturales. Uno de los principales desafíos fue que el 80 por ciento del espacio destinado a comedor se encuentra bajo tierra y no recibe luz natural. Por ello, la naturaleza se simula. Una cascada y un estanque se conforman en hormigón fundido mediante tecnología digital, y unos patitos de cobre parecen nadar sobre la superficie. Los comedores privados evocan la forma de un valle, con plantas y estaciones, y la luz simulada refuerza estos espacios cerrados.

- Unique Properties
- The Dragon Restaurant is located in the Financial Tech office building. A relaxing restaurant atmosphere with natural elements is sought. One of challenges is that 80% of the dining space is located underground and therefore there is no natural light. There is a balance between Financial Tech and nature.

- Inspiration
- Nature is simulated: one by casting a "waterfall" and "pool" via digital tech. Some copper ducklings even "swim" on this cast installation. Because of the long cold winters, outdoor-waterscapes are not suitable in Beijing, but people love water features. Another simulation is to imitate the shape of a valley and various plants and different seasons in the private dining rooms which are without windows and natural light.
