About Link Anillo

Link es un anillo de plata inspirado en la forma de una cadena. El diseño se compone de aros unidos que quien lo lleva puede añadir o quitar, de modo que el anillo puede adoptar una forma nueva cada vez. Los complejos aros del centro contrastan con la base de plata minimalista, creando un equilibrio entre el orden y el desorden. La apariencia del anillo cambia al observarlo desde distintos ángulos. El corte, el conformado y la soldadura se realizaron enteramente a mano. La cadena alude a la unidad y al vínculo entre las personas y la naturaleza.

Unique Properties: Each apparently invaluable piece can turn into a precious and meaningful piece. We only need to change our attitude towards the issues around us. Link consists of the loops and the user can either add or remove every hoop or piece and create a new form each time.

Production Technology: The processes of cutting, forming and welding were completely done by hand.
Design Challenge: Link has been designed and made in a way that the user is able to either add or remove the number of hoops.
Research: In the design of this ring, the dynamism of form, understanding of human-nature relationship and the human themselves has been taken into consideration. The hoops used in this piece represent the universe in which the destruction of even one hoop will be dealt with punishment. One of the other properties of “link” ring is its view(appearance) which are different in different views.
Inspiration: The word Sustain means to keep alive and also the understanding of the relation between human beings and the nature and also the human beings with each other. The universe is a set of chains and there will be a punishment even if one of its hoops is destroyed. The ability of a chain is equal to the ability of its weakest hoop and due to this reason, everybody should cooperate like chain and show the importance of survival to the others with unity and reduce the amount of the nature destruction that badly impacts the mankind day after day.
Project Duration: This project kicked off in 2020 and was finalized after making the primary sample in 2021.
Operation Flow: In the design process of Link piece, with all the simplicities, the visual aspects have been the priority and the chain are the symbol of unity and bond. The complicated hoops in the center of the ring and also the minimal structure of the base part of silver, has made a beautiful and balanced design of unity and order with the disorder.
