El reloj Salvador es una versión moderna del reloj derretido del pintor español Dalí. El proyecto comenzó en marzo de 2020, al comienzo del primer confinamiento. Durante este período, muchas personas en todo el mundo sintieron que el tiempo se había ralentizado. El tiempo líquido y derretido se convirtió en la inspiración para el diseño. El desafío era crear un objeto atractivo que mejorara cualquier oficina en casa y hiciera más placentero el trabajo desde casa. La forma simple y minimalista permite que este artículo sea funcional y se adapte a diferentes estilos de hogar.

Unique Properties: Salvador clock is a modern version of the well-known melted clock by Spanish painter Dali.
Simple and minimal shape allows this item to be functional and stylish at the same time.

Production Technology: The clock’s body is made from high quality and lightweight aluminum.
There are two finishing options:
matt black powder coating with classic gold hands.
brushed natural aluminum with black hands.

The choice of material came from the willingness to give the clock a slim and contemporary look.
The choice of a quiet clock mechanism was made to emphasize the perception of time moving at a leisurely pace.
Design Challenge: During the pandemic, people all around the world started to work from home.
The challenge of this project was to create a desirable object that will upgrade any home office and will make the work from home more pleasant.
Research: During the research, I looked for a perfect shape that will be very functional and stable on a shelf while also aesthetic. The design process included 2D hand sketches, paper and cardboard 3D sketches with different shapes and proportions.
Inspiration: The project began on March 2020, at the very beginning of the first lockdown. During this period, lots of people all around the world felt the time has slowed down. Liquid, melted time was the inspiration for Salvador clock.
Project Duration: March 2020 - July 2020
