Acerca de Noiseless Jarrón para flores

Noiseless es un jarrón de porcelana modelado a torno, diseñado para plantas largas o de gran tamaño. La forma se define con un mínimo de líneas para equilibrar la luz y la sombra. La superficie es de porcelana desnuda, de textura suave y sedosa, y solo el interior lleva un esmalte transparente. Los tamaños van desde 60 por 60 por 110 milímetros hasta 100 por 100 por 240 milímetros. Cada pieza es pesada, de modo que las flores de tallo largo permanecen estables. Colocados juntos, los jarrones se alzan como columnas y conforman un sereno conjunto monocromo que puede disponerse libremente.

Desafío de Diseño: The challenge consisted of the difference between the first picture and reality.

Investigación: A study of simple, beautiful shapes, exploring the balance between light and shade. The aim was to pursue essential beauty without being distracted by decoration or color. An analog approach served as the source. Light of slightly different colors shines on both sides to accentuate the shadows and contours. Simple and beautiful shapes were formed by carving each of the wheel-thrown porcelain vases by hand. As a result, instead of accentuating the design with decorations and colors, a unique form was found. The characteristics of software do not influence it. It is as pure as it can get.
Inspiración: Being interested in how the form of an object is expressed by light and shadow the goal was to design a vase with a minimum of lines, carving out a balance between light and shade. The vases are arranged like columns. By leaving the flowers out of the vase, the path of creation for a monochrome silence was pursued. This creates freedom. Freedom in the arrangement of the vases and in the imagination in relation to the arrangement of the flowers.
Duración del Proyecto: The project startet in February 2018 in Berlin
Flujo de Operación: The light and shadows soften the look of this vase and make it suitable for any place. It can also be set to engage with flowers. Made like a weight, this vase, especially with long-stemmed flowers, makes a big difference and gives the impression of deviating from the norm.
