About M Two Vivienda

M Two es una vivienda situada en las afueras de un pueblo enclavado en una colina de Limassol, Chipre. El diseño y los materiales se integran en el paisaje natural y respetan la arquitectura tradicional de las casas de pueblo, con una estética contemporánea. La distribución sigue la tradicional forma de pi, que genera un flujo sereno y ergonómico entre el interior y el exterior. Los espacios familiares y sociales se funden entre sí, aunque funcionan de forma independiente y ofrecen privacidad allí donde se necesita. Cuatro zonas de estar permiten disfrutar de todas las perspectivas de las vistas a la montaña y al mar. La paleta cromática emplea tonos naturales beige, marrón, verde y azul.

Unique Properties: Located at the outskirts of a village, the design and materials of the house suit both the natural landscape and respect the traditional village-house designs but with a modern aesthetic. The layout is a traditional ‘pi’ Π shape that gives a calm and ergonomic flow between interior and exterior. We wanted the family and public spaces of the house to blend seamlessly but function independently and offer privacy where needed. Four living areas allow all aspects of the view to be enjoyed.
Inspiration: The inspiration came from the immediate environment. It is on a hill with uninterrupted views of both mountain and sea. It is north facing and perfectly orientated for the sun, light, air and views. We wanted a seamless flow between the interior and exterior so that wherever you are in the house, you would always have a beautiful outlook. With the native landscape as our palette, we used natural colours of beige rock, brown wood, mountain olive greens and blue water to reflect the facing Mediterranean Sea.
